MMK questions masculinities. For each evening, the dance collective invites an author or researcher to a shared program of lecture, performance, and conversation. Together, they look at masculinity from autobiographical, theoretical, and dance-based perspectives, and engage with one another and with the audience.

In the performance "Männer rollen" (roughly "Men Rolling"), dancer and choreographer Mark Christoph Klee examines his image of masculinity, shaped by his parents' craft business and by his coming out as a young man. On a stage set made of 100 concrete blocks, he searches for softness. He reflects on his own privileges and asks how patriarchal structures shape his relationship with his parents, reach deep into the queer community, and even permeate his own sexual desire.

The evening, in three parts, asks what happens when men start to roll, and with them, symbolically, an entire system.
